What we cover

Plumbing services, explained area by area

Earth Plumbing is a publication, not a crew: we do not send a van, we send understanding. These are the six territories plumbing work falls into. Each one links to its full guide, and each one can carry your question straight to the enquiry desk.

How this works

Read, ask, then hire well

Read. The guide for your problem tells you the mechanism, the honest severity, and what is safe to do yourself. That alone settles most midnight worries.

Ask. If your situation does not match the page, describe it to the enquiry desk. We read every question and reply with guidance and a sensible next step, not a sales pitch.

Hire well. Plumbing and drainage work in Australia must be done by a licensed plumber. Our guides tell you what the good ones will do, so you can recognise it when you see it, and ask the right questions when you do not.

What we will never do

The honest fine print

No quotes, no callout fees, no "we'll be there in 20 minutes". We have no trucks and no toolbelts, so you will never get a price or a promise from us, only an explanation you can check against our sources and use with whoever does the work.

That is the deal in plain sight: this site earns its keep by being right, and by pointing you at licensed hands when the reading is done.

Ask about your situation

The enquiry desk

Tell us what your plumbing is doing

Describe the symptom, the fixture and how long it has been going on. We read every enquiry and reply with guidance and a sensible next step. Anything that needs tools is a licensed plumber's job, and we will say so plainly.
